Do I need to do the retreat over 3 consecutive days?

Realise is designed as a retreat intensive. You will want to 'retreat' from all other activities and plans for the entire 3 days so that you can get the most of the experience.

Will I get a full retreat experience from a virtual retreat?

Absolutely. You will leave with as much of a glow as when you do a retreat in person. The practices, the food and the connection are the secret magic ingredients and you'll get them all if you follow the program.

How do the meals work? What if I have dietary requirements?

You will receive a shopping list, a full menu, written recipes and cooking demos. You will be guided by Megan May, master of whole-food and plant-based cooking, so expect to learn how to whip up super easy and delicious, nourishing meals. These are skills you'll be able to take with you into your everyday life.

Some recipes are designed to be made ahead of time so that you have less prep during your retreat. If doing this as a group, you may like to split up the meal making between you.

For dietary requirements, there are plenty of alternatives suggested within each recipe, and if any of the recipes aren't suitable for you, you're welcome to repeat one that is.

If you'd prefer not to cook, you may like to reach out to your local wholefoods cafe or restaurant and order your meals. If you're in Auckland, Little Bird Cafe by Megan May is a great option for this.

How fit do I need to be?

This retreat will meet you where you are. No specific fitness levels are required. That being said, we recommend starting to do some sort of functional movement before you start to prepare your body. Please consult with your physician before starting. Your retreat includes yoga, pilates, interval training, breath-work, foam rolling, walking, contrast hdyro-therapy and meditative and contemplative classes. You can always choose to skip anything that doesn't work for your body, to modify the movements so they do, or repeat classes that are more suitable.

Can I do the retreat anywhere? Are there any location requirements?

Yes, provided it has internet access, a kitchen and enough space to put down a yoga mat. You could do it at home, at a friends place, or book a holiday home.

Do I need internet?

Yes, you'll need internet to stream the retreat content.

Is this better solo or in a group?

You're welcome to choose what's right for you, but we recommend doing the retreat with at least one other person if possible. Experience and research suggests that retreats like this are more effective and more fun when we do them in community. The price is for you and as many friends as you'd like to retreat alongside you. You will just need to set a shareable password for the duration of your retreat so that all of your friends can log in, as some of the sessions require headphones.

Can I get a refund?

If you complete all 3-days of the retreat and aren't satisfied, we will happily offer you a full or partial refund. We stand by our retreats 100%. If you have any questions or need any support, please contact us on [email protected]

How long will I have access to the content for?

You'll have access to the retreat itself for 5 days, which you can begin anytime after purchase. Upon purchase, you will receive the preparation guide, which will support you in getting ready for your retreat. You will maintain Lifetime access to the Preparation content, including recipes, shopping lists and tips on making the most of your retreat. Once you've done your retreat, if you'd like to repeat it again, you can do so at a discounted rate.

Can I gift someone a retreat?

Absolutely, a Realise retreat makes an absolutely wonderful gift. Head over to the Buy Now page and when you purchase a gift voucher, we will send you a beautiful digital voucher that you can print or send them, and a special code that will give them access to their retreat.

Can I do this retreat while taking care of young children?

Unless your children are of an age that they can entertain themselves for three days, you won't be able to fully engage with the program if you have  to take care of them. The program runs from morning until evening each day and you'll want to be able to really dive in fully if possible. A retreat provides an opportunity to step outside of your everyday life and take some time for yourself.

It's a bit outside of my budget. Do you offer discounts?

We wanted to make this retreat as affordable as possible. The price is set but you can do it with as many friends as you'd like, and split the cost.
